1968-70 Willie Mays Game Used Bat. The hard-slugging Hall of Famer came up with the New York Giants in 1951, and put up outrageous numbers season after season after season, crushing 660 home runs during his 22-year career, with 3,283 lifetime hits. This Adirondack Big Stick "teepee" model 113A bat (35" and 34.1 ounces) exhibits great overall use with ball marks and stitch impressions on the right and back barrel. John Taube's research revealed that Mays' "24" on the knob is joined by "29" in fading black marker. The number "29" was worn by Nate Oliver in '68 and Tito Fuentes from 1969-70. The black ring has been removed and the bat was refurnished. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 6.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
