    1968-69 Bob Gibson Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8. This bat dates from the period when Bob Gibson was at the height of his powers as a pitcher. In 1968, he won twenty-two games, struck out 268 batters and conjured up an unearthly 1.12 earned run average, the latter two leading the league. He also copped both the National League MVP and Cy Young awards. In 1968, he won twenty (20) games, struck out 269 batters and recorded a 2.18 earned run average.

    This ash colored Hillerich & Bradsby block letter K75 model is thirty-five inches (35") long, weights thirty-two ounces (32 oz.) and features Gibson's identifying "45" on the handle in black marker. Also, the cracked handle of the bat was repaired. The outstanding wear and overall player attributes with hit marks, ball transfer marks, rack marks, and light pine tar evidence on the handle. Signed on barrel with "HOF '81" notation in black sharpie. LOA from PSA/DNA GU 8. COA from PSA/DNA (autograph).
