1967 Ernie Banks All-Star Game Used Bat. A marathon Midsummer Classic at Angel Stadium took extra innings to decide, with Tony Perez' fifteenth inning long ball proving to be the game-winner for the visiting National League side. The presented bat was issued to Ernie Banks for the contest, effectively used in the tenth inning in a pinch hitting capacity as the Cubs Hall of Famer rattled off a single in his only plate appearance. The signature model Hillerich & Bradsby S2 exhibits appropriately light use, with a few ball marks and stitch impressions evident on front and right barrel, and light pine tar at the uncracked handle.

"All Star Game, 1967 - Anaheim" frames Banks' facsimile signature on barrel, and a genuine 10/10 black sharpie specimen resides to the right with a desirable "Mr. Cub" notation. Length and weight are thirty-six inches and thirty-four ounces respectively. Fine provenance is delivered in the form of a letter from the former minor league roommate of Banks' son, who gave the bat to the the letter writer in lieu of rent payment. PSA/DNA assigns an impressive grade of GU 9. LOA from PSA/DNA.
