1966 Baltimore Orioles Championship Black Bat. The 1966 Baltimore Orioles team was not only the first championship season for the club, but they would also do it with emphasis by sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers for the title. Frank Robinson led the charge, with an MVP season as well as registering an elusive Triple Crown, batting .316 with forty-nine home runs and 122 RBI. Other highlights of the season included a .287-34-109 line from Boog Powell and Brooks Robinson knocking twenty-three long bombs with 100 RBI. Jim Palmer and Dave McNally were the pitching leaders, combining for twenty-eight wins and over 300 strikeouts. The offered 35" near mint championship bat was presented only to team personnel and includes the names of the entire team on the Louisville Slugger special edition model.
