1965 Joe Torre Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10.

UPDATE: Letter of provenance is a photocopy.

Joe Torre was known for his offensive ability as he persevered through eighteen big league seasons. The 1965 campaign was a banner one for Torre as he blasted twenty-seven home runs, copped a Gold Glove and hit a home run in his first All-Star Game. This Louisville Slugger model U1 bat (35" and 32.1 ounces) was used during Torre's breakout season. Uncracked, the bat shows heavy use with ball marks and deep stitch impressions on the left and back barrel. Green and red bat rack streaks decorate the top and back barrel regions. "15" is written on the knob in black marker while "U1" is punched in. A letter will attend from a former Atlanta Braves scout which states the bat was used by Torre during the team's final season in Milwaukee. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Letter of provenance from Atlanta Braves scout.
