    Description

1965-68 Frank Robinson Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7. Though Robinson's residence at Cooperstown and the 500 Home Run Clubhouse is enough to assure immortality, he joins another Robinson in racial pioneering as the first African-American to take the managerial reins of a Major League club. The potential production range of this playing-days bat spans his transition from the Reds to the Orioles, which allowed him to become the only player to win an MVP Award for each League. The signature model Hillerich & Bradsby R161 bat (35" and 34.3 ounces) was used between 1965-68 by the Hall of Famer. The uncracked bat shows light use with a few contact marks, stitch impressions and bat rack streaks. "R161" is stamped on the knob. Robinson signed the barrel in 6/10 felt tip. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7. LOA from MEARS, A7. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from SGC Authentic (autograph).
