1962 Roger Maris World Series Game Issued Bat, PSA Authentic. It would appear, understandably so, that Maris thought this Adirondack 135RM was just too pretty to subject to the rigors of game play, instead saving it as a souvenir of what would prove to be the end of decades of Yankee Fall Classic dominance. After back-to-back American League MVP campaigns, and the toppling of the Babe's home run record, Maris remained white-hot during the 1962 campaign, delivering 100 RBI's and thirty-three long balls en route to a World Series berth. The presented bat measures thirty-five inches (35") in length and weighs thirty-two and a half ounces (32.5 oz.), presenting in pristine condition. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
