1962 All-Star Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8 from The Brooks Robinson Collection. There were two Midsummer Classics played in 1962, and this bat derives from the first, a three-to-one National League victory at D.C. Stadium in our nation's capital that saw President John F. Kennedy throw out the first pitch. Robinson made only a single plate appearance in this one, plunked by Milwaukee Braves right-hander Bob Shaw in a scoreless eighth.

The experts at PSA/DNA consider this significantly abridged offensive play in assigning a numerical grade for this All-Star bat, conceding that the absence of visible game use may not preclude it from use in the manner of the other Robinson All-Star bats on offer in this auction. However it is certainly possible, as with the other All-Star bats, that Robinson simply retained it as a pristine souvenir.

The signature model Hillerich & Bradsby K55 matches factory ordering records at thirty-four inches (34") and thirty and a half ounces (30.4 oz.). Letter of provenance from Brooks Robinson. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
