    Description

1961 Billy Gardner Game Issued World Series Bat. Talk about good timing. Gardner spent just two seasons in pinstripes, the World Championship years of 1961 and 1962. This is the signature model Hillerich & Bradsby M110 issued for the Fall Classic of the former. Gardner lined out to end Game Two, his only at bat of the Series, but we suspect it was his other bat that saw action, as this model is effectively pristine. Length is thirty-four and a half inches, weight twenty-nine ounces.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
