1960 Willie Mays All-Star Game Bat. The ultimate five-tool player, Willie Mays may have been the most complete all around ballplayer ever to suit up in a Major League uniform. He is one of just four men with keys to both the 3,000 Hit and 500 Home Run Clubhouses, and easily the finest fielder of that quartet. For nineteen consecutive seasons, Mays' appearance in the Midsummer Classic was as certain as death and taxes, and here we present a stunningly well preserved signature model Adirondack M63A issued to the first ballot Hall of Famer for use in the 1960 Kansas City Municipal Stadium exhibition. Mays would go three for four in the National League's five to three victory, a homer short of hitting for the cycle.

It would appear that, of the two issued to each player, this was the Mays bat that stayed in the rack, as no ball marks are apparent on the glossy barrel, only a pair of 10/10 black sharpie signatures underscored with Mays' famous "Say Hey Kid" nickname. Length is thirty-five inches, weight thirty-two ounces. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
