1960 Tony Kubek Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8. He played nearly every position during his nine seasons in pinstripes, primarily as a shortstop, earning three World Championships during his tenure. This block-letter Hillerich & Bradsby F96 is attributed to the American League Championship season of 1960, a year that saw Kubek finish eleventh in MVP balloting. Moderate game use is evident, with ball marks and rack paint bearing witness. Handle is uncracked. Length and weight are thirty-four and a half inches (34.5") and thirty-one ounces (30.7 oz.) respectively. The bat derives from the personal collection of celebrated Yankees photographer Ernie Sisto, with a letter from his granddaughter. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8. Letter of provenance from granddaughter of Yankees photographer.
