1960 Stan Musial All-Star Game Bat. One of the most celebrated moments of The Man's Hall of Fame career came in a Midsummer Classic, in 1955, to be precise. After surrendering five unanswered runs through the first six innings, the Nationals knotted the score in the bottom of the eighth. The deadlock survived into the bottom of the twelfth, when Musial stepped to the plate, advising exhausted American League catcher Yogi Berra that everybody was about to finally go home. With a single swing of his bat, he kept his promise.

Five years later, this was one of the two bats presented to Musial for his selection to appear in the sport's premier exhibition. The bat survives in splendid condition, unused and refinished, effectively identical in appearance to its original issue over a half century ago with the exception of a 10/10 black sharpie inscription from the Cardinals Hall of Famer that reads, "Best Wishes--Stan Musial, My game bat."

The Adirondack "Musial Personal Model" lumber is crafted to the Hall of Fame slugger's personal specs, with thirty-one ounces of weight balanced within thirty-four and a half inches of length. "1960 All Stars" is burned into the mid-barrel. Low population "event" bats (All-Star Games, World Series) carry greatly heightened collecting appeal, and it should go without saying that those from the arsenal of the game's pantheon are the most coveted of all.
