    Description

1960's Harmon Killebrew Game Issued Bat. Offered here is an original "Hillerich & Bradsby" bat issued to Harmon Killebrew for use during his time spent with the Minnesota Twins. Measuring at 34.5" and weighing 32 ounces, this piece has moderate water wear at the top of the barrel and has the proper "S207" stamped on the knob.

The bat originates from the Ray Crump Collection. Ray originally worked in the clubhouse and was a batboy for the Washington Senators beginning in 1948. When the Senators moved to Minnesota in 1961, he came North with them to become the Twins first equipment manager, a position he held until retiring from the organization in 1984.
