1959 Richie Ashburn Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. Richie Ashburn's keen eye at the plate helped him win two batting titles and also lead the Senior Circuit in walks four times. The Hall of Famer was runner-up three times in batting average during his remarkable career. Game-used bats from Ashburn are a relatively tough find in the collecting world. Ashburn used this Hillerich & Bradsby model G7 model bat (34" and 34.8 ounces) during his final season in Philadelphia. The thirty-two year old finished with 150 hits that season. John Taube describes the use as "outstanding" on the bat which also has grain swelling to the back barrel from repeated contact.. A handle crack has been professionally repaired.
