    Description

1958 Ted Williams Signed Game Issued Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic. He'd turn forty the season this bat rolled off the line in Louisville, but Williams proved he was still "The Kid" with the sixth and final American League batting championship of his storied career. Sadly this signature model Hillerich & Bradsby W183 remained a wallflower throughout this last great season of Williams' career, but it's game ready, with a vintage number "9" in marker on the knob. Years later the bat and its legendary original owner had a reunion, at which time an 8/10 red sharpie signature was applied to the barrel. As such, this rates among the most desirable Williams signed bats available in the hobby, considering that the vast majority are simply modern replicas of his game models. This is the ultra-rare original that those reproductions attempt to emulate. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
