    1958 Eddie Mathews Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7. Important lumber dates to the greatest era in Milwaukee Braves history, two years of National League dominance that saw Mathews and his buddy Hank Aaron operate as the most effective slugging tandem since Ruth and Gehrig. We see evidence of that remarkable power in the barrel of the provided signature model Hillerich & Bradsby U1, which exhibits outstanding use from a thirty-one home run campaign for the Hall of Famer. Ball and cleat marks coat the barrel, which exhibits light checking from the punishment, and vintage nails partially repair a handle crack. Number "41" is written in red marker on knob. Length is thirty-five inches (35"), weight thirty-four ounces (34 oz.). LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7. Letter of provenance from Ron Cardo (former Milwaukee County Stadium batboy).
