Description

1954-60 Minnie Minoso Game Used Bat. Minnie Minoso was one of the first successful Cuban born players to create a splash at the big league level. A borderline Hall of Famer, Minoso was a welcomed sight around the ballpark for years at White Sox games. The nine-time All-Star put heavy use into this Hillerich & Bradsby bat (30 ounces and 33.75") during his formative years. Deeply embedded stitch impressions and checking are found on the back barrel. Three nails have been applied to save the life of the walloping stick. "M168" is stamped into the knob. MEARS graded the bat A7.5 and a hologram (heavy chipping) is affixed on the knob. Minoso signed the barrel in 10/10 felt tip. A JSA sticker authenticates the signature. A copy of the original MEARS letter and worksheet will attend. LOA from MEARS, A7.5 (copy). Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
