1952 Ralph Kiner All-Star Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8.5. One of the premier sluggers in baseball history, Ralph Kiner came of age in the 1940's and continued blasting baseballs out of ballparks well into the 1950's. Incredibly, he led the National League in home runs in his first seven Major League seasons, finishing in the top ten in MVP balloting for five consecutive seasons.

Presented here is a bat prepared for Kiner's use in the 1952 Midsummer Classic. Built to his specifications, this H&B model G69L is 35" long and weighs 37 ounces. Heavy game use is evidenced by ball marks on the barrel, green rack marks, and handle scoring with file from the second half of the 1952 season. (Note: Kiner did not play in the 1952 All-Star Game which was called early due to rain). It should also be noted that the bat exhibits a slightly cracked handle and nail repairs on the barrel. Hall of Famer All-Star bats are always in demand and highly collectible, as they are scarce and and highly sought due to their limited production. LOA from PSA/DNA 8.5.
