    Description

1950-52 Stan Musial Game Used Bat. While the St. Louis Cardinals legend earned seven National League batting titles during his twenty-two season career, only once did he hold the title for three consecutive campaigns. That span, 1950 to 1952, just so happens to correspond exactly with the labeling period of the presented Hillerich & Bradsby M117, providing pretty solid evidence to back our claim that the bat dates to the absolute pinnacle of The Man's considerable talents. "Excellent use," as described by experts Taube and Malta, is only to be expected for any lumber surviving an era marked by 591 base hits, 113 doubles and eighty-one long balls. Ball, stitch and cleat marks decorate the block lettered barrel, which bears a later perfect black sharpie signature from the former owner. Length and weight of thirty-four and a half inches and thirty-three ounces are correct for Musial. Uncracked. Graded PSA/DNA GU 8. LOA from PSA/DNA. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication (autograph).
