1950-51 Ted Kluszewski Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic. An early gamer from the burly slugger who is best remembered today for wearing vests without an undershirt to let his biceps breathe. The thirty-six inch length and thirty-five and a half ounce weight of this Hillerich & Bradsby signature model U1 clearly is the lumber of a big man, and the heavy use with grain checking, ball marks and deep stitch impressions ably tells the powerful tale. Repaired handle crack, red bat rack streaks. A few linear depressions on the barrel appear to derive from striking a hard edge, perhaps steps or the corner of a dugout. A rough and tumble representation, perfectly fitting as a memento of its original owner. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
