1948-49 Jimmie Foxx Team Index Bat. Pitcher's knees turned to butter when the thought of having to pitch to Jimmie Foxx was at hand. The man who looked up to only Babe Ruth for home run supremacy when he retired, Foxx swung a bat similar to this team index game bat. The Hillerich %& Bradsby model F3 bat (34" and 35.7 ounces) is the preferred model used by Foxx during 1948-49, but this was not part of his order. Heavy checking appears on the back barrel from contact. Uncracked. A MEARS hologram rests on the barrel end.
