    Description

1946 Stan Musial National League Batting Title Presentational Bat. It's a Cardinals season best remembered for Enos Slaughter's Game Seven "Mad Dash," but without the eye-popping tallies recounted on this trophy bat, the Brooklyn Dodgers surely would have overcome the two-game deficit in the chase for the National League flag. The Man notched a .365 average to lead the Senior Circuit, and red stars appear under his totals for at-bats (624), runs scored (124), hits (228), doubles (50) and triples (20) to denote leading numbers for these as well. Minimal wear to the lettering is apparent, as is some residue on the front barrel, but these are minor distractions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
Letter of provenance from the Musial family.
