1946 Jimmie Foxx Lathe Bat. Assigned a perfect score of GU 10 by top bat expert John Taube, this scarce keepsake is the template that was used to produce the exact model of bats Foxx used in the closing seasons of his career. It should be noted that rarely are lathe bats found in such terrific, undamaged condition, or with the "burnt in" facsimile signature and block text as would be found on true Foxx gamers. Lathe spurs protrude from each end of the bat, but it's otherwise identical in length (thirty-four inches), weight (thirty-two ounces) and dimensions to the bats with which Foxx put the finishing touches on his Hall of Fame slugging numbers. A one-of-a-kind artifact for the serious bat collector. LOA from Taube & Malta.
