Description

1937 Paul Waner Game Used Bat Signed by Pittsburgh Pirates Team with Wagner, PSA/DNA GU 9. Big Poison moved one step closer to his eventual Hall of Fame enshrinement this year, recording a scorching .354 batting average to lead his band of buccaneers in 1937. Game use is characterized as "outstanding" by the experts at PSA/DNA, who reference ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks and multi-colored rack streaks to bear witness to multiple games of action. After faithful service to its master, the uncracked gamer was pressed into duty as an autograph vessel, passed around the Pirates dugout and through the hands of fellow legends to include both Waner brothers, Arky Vaughan, Waite Hoyt and the ageless Honus Wagner. Over twenty signatures appear in total, averaging about 4/10. All listed Hall of Famers are quite readily legible. A truly outstanding Waner gamer for the advanced collector. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
