1936-37 Eddie Collins Professional Model Bat. "The bat is in outstanding mint condition despite its age of 75 years," expert John Taube marvels in his letter of examination. Though the man whose quarter century of active duty in the Majors earned him a well-deserved Cooperstown plaque had hung up his speedy spikes by the time this bat rolled off the Hillerich & Bradsby assembly line, Collins was still active in baseball, as general manager of the Boston Red Sox, when this bat was delivered to him. The flawless specimen measures thirty-four inches (34") in length and tips the scales at just over thirty-three ounces (33 oz.). Though the bat has no model number, Taube has matched the specs to the one known as C122. LOA from PSA/DNA.
