1936-37 Billy Southworth Post-Career Used Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic. The sudden and tragic passing of his wife sent Southworth into an alcoholic spiral in the early 1930's, but by the time this bat was delivered to him, he had regained a foothold in the Cardinals' minor league system, and he'd make it back to the Bigs in 1940, earning a posthumous Cooperstown induction in 2008. Rare Hall of Fame lumber is a signature model Hillerich & Bradsby crafted from hickory and showing heavy use with plentiful ball marks, rack streaks, and a cracked handle. Length is thirty-five inches (35"), weight just over thirty-four ounces (34.3 oz.). A handwritten number "4" appears on barrel. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
