    Description

1922-25 Frank Frisch Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7. The four-year labeling period of the presented signature model Hillerich & Bradsby finds the Fordham Flash at the peak of his powers, averaging a stellar .334 with 107 runs scored, numbers that helped lead his New York Giants to three National League pennants and a World Championship over that span. Heavy use is evident, with slight checking, a multitude of ball marks and some depressions on the barrel that suggest cleat gouges. The bat measures thirty-four inches in length and a hefty thirty-eight ounces in weight, providing the requisite "thud" that made Frisch the National League leader in total bases in 1923. Frisch gamers are very rare, appearing on the major auction circuit less than once a year, so dedicated collectors should take this opportunity seriously. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 7.
