1920's Babe Ruth Louisville Slugger Store Model Bat. Imagine the look on a young boy's face when first presented with this Babe Ruth model bat in the 1920's. It would be the envy of every friend as he took it to the sandlot to play some ball and pretend to be the "Great Bambino" at the plate. This bat certainly saw plenty of action, as evidenced by the normal wear and cracked handle. Measuring thirty-six inches long, it is marked with the "Hillerich & Bradsby Co." logo and model number "40 B.R." Under the oval logo is "Trademark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." helping date the bat to pre-1930.
