1910-15 Honus Wagner Decal Bat. The specific center brand format tells us that this lumber dates to the glorious prime of the Old Dutchman, a period in which he met his elite Dead Ball Era counterpart Ty Cobb in the 1909 World Series. This thirty-three-inch (33"), thirty-seven and a half ounce (37.2 oz.) Hillerich & Bradsby 40W clearly spent some warm summer days at the sandlot, but the all-important decal on the barrel still retains about 70% of its structure. A wonderfully evocative Dead Ball Era treasure.
