Michael Singletary Single Signed Baseball. The Texas native and Baylor standout Mike Singletary was chosen by the Chicago Bears in the 1981 Draft, occupying a starting linebacker spot by the end of his rookie campaign. Mike went on to finish in the top two tacklers for the Bears for the next eleven seasons, playing at a level that would eventually grant him induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In what makes a truly intriguing memento, the great Singletary has signed the sweet spot of the lightly toned OAL (Brown) baseball offered here, adding a "# 50" inscription to indicate his famed jersey number.
