    Description

Late 1930's Eddie Collins Single Signed Baseball.
Despite a full quarter century in a Major League uniform and the brand of baseball brilliance which would typically attract swarms of autograph seekers, Collins remains an enormously challenging hurdle for collectors of Hall of Fame single signed baseballs. It's a bit of a mystery, actually, that so few could exist. Our comprehensive auction results database indicates only three sales by any major house in the past twenty years.

So there's no question the collecting world is anxiously awaiting another crack at ownership, which we present with this late 1930's model of OAL (Harridge) ball. The original "Fast Eddie" provides a sweet spot signature in his distinctive loopy style, sealed to 7/10 quality beneath a vintage clear coat. The finest example we've seen of one of the hobby's true white whales. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
