Juan Gonzalez came from the tough streets of Vega Baja, Puerto Rico to become one of the most productive run producers in Major League Baseball history. An instant success in his first full season at age 21 he belted 27 home runs and knocked in 102 RBIs during that 1991 campaign. Gonzalez immediately became a fan favorite for his skill at driving in runners and the power he displayed at the plate. That would prove to be just the beginning for Gonzalez as his production steadily increased each season, as well as his popularity in the DFW area. From 1995-98 he produced runs at a record clip, averaging over an RBI per game, making him the first player since WWII to accomplish that feat over four seasons. His impressive resume includes three All Star appearances, six Silver Slugger Awards and two American League MVPs, plus the admiration of baseball fans across the Lone Star State. The Rangers career leader in home runs, RBIs and extra base hits has penned a bold signature in blue ink on the sweet spot of this Official American League baseball creating an enticing offering for one lucky fan.
