Description
Jose Canseco Single Signed Baseball. José Canseco was a powerful and controversial slugger best known for his role in the rise of power hitting during the late 1980s and 1990s. He burst onto the scene with the Oakland Athletics, winning AL Rookie of the Year in 1986 and becoming the first player in MLB history to hit 40 home runs and steal 40 bases in a single season in 1988, earning AL MVP honors. Canseco hit 462 career home runs and was a 6-time All-Star and 2-time World Series champion (including with the 1989 A's). Known for his massive power and showmanship, he later became a central figure in baseball's steroid era, admitting to PED use and writing a tell-all book that implicated many stars. His legacy is a complex mix of on-field excellence and off-field controversy.Offered is a Rawlings OML-Selig baseball signed by the slugger. Little toning with some ink fading. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
