Harmon Killebrew Signed Stat Ball. Harmon Killebrew's legacy is defined by his status as one of baseball's most prolific power hitters and a model of sportsmanship. Over his 22-year MLB career (1954-1975), primarily with the Minnesota Twins, Killebrew hit 573 home runs, ranking among the all-time leaders, and was a 13-time All-Star. Known for his towering, tape-measure home runs, he earned the nickname "The Killer," though his demeanor was humble and gracious. Killebrew was pivotal in the Twins' success, including their 1965 World Series appearance, and won the 1969 AL MVP. Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984, his legacy also includes being an ambassador for the sport, remembered for his integrity and kindness on and off the field.
