Description

Gil Hodges Single Signed Baseball. Having played in three All-Star games, Gil Hodges is best known as the manager of the 1969 New York Mets, leading them to the World Series title. This feat was one of the greatest upsets in World Series history. Hodges has added his signature to the side panel of this ONL (Feeney) baseball in blue ink. Adding "Best Wishes", the signature does show some signs of fading but is still clear and a beautiful exemplar. The orb exhibits an evenly distributed toning. JSA Auction LOA.
