Description

Early 1930's Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball. It's as close as you can get to a Gehrig single without a strong five-figure price tag. The Iron Horse's black fountain pen signature survives at an impressive 7/10 strength on the side panel of this OAL (Harridge) ball, while a secretarial Babe Ruth autograph on the sweet spot would only be spotted by those looking very closely. A third unidentified signature is equally camouflaged. Only the light impression of the pen in the horsehide remains, with the ink entirely vanished from view. With the vast divide between supply and demand for Gehrig single signed baseballs, the presented sphere will fill that empty spot in your collection admirably, and will fool all but the most eagle-eyed collector. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
