Description

Early 1930's Babe Ruth & Hack Wilson Signed Baseball. Hard slugging and hard living are common traits for this legendary duo, as is well-deserved Hall of Fame enshrinement. You will nonetheless find very few baseballs bearing the signatures of this important pairing, and frankly not a tremendous amount featuring the brilliant Hack Wilson at all. Here we find both long ball artists on an early 1930's (note the black and red stitching) Official National League ball with minor league presidential stamping. The Babe occupies his standard sweet spot position, rating a respectable 6/10 in blue fountain pen ink. Wilson is immediately to the west, scoring 5/10 in black ink. A third unidentified signature appears on the northern panel. Some surface wear is apparent throughout and results in a PSA "Baseball Grade" of 3/10, but graciously does little harm to the autographs themselves. Autograph and ball grades calculate to a final PSA rating of VG-EX 4. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full grading LOA from PSA/DNA.
