Description

Circa 1957 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball with Roy Campanella. The 1957 Brooklyn Dodgers experienced a season of significant transition and historical importance, finishing third in the National League with an 84-70 record. This year was marked by the poignant end of the Dodgers' storied tenure in Brooklyn, as the team announced their controversial move to Los Angeles at the season's conclusion, a decision that deeply affected their loyal fan base. The 1957 season also showcased outstanding performances from players like Duke Snider and Pee Wee Reese, but it was overshadowed by the emotional farewell to Ebbets Field and the impending relocation that would forever change the landscape of Major League Baseball.

Offered is a stunning Reach OAL-Harridge baseball signed by about twenty-five members of the squad. Among the signers are Don Drysdale, Roy Campanella, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges, Walter Alston, Pee Wee Reese, Billy Herman, Carl Erskine, Elmer Valo, Don Newcombe, Carl Furillo, Roger Craig, Don Zimmer and more. Toning and wear exhibited. Six of the men who blessed this orb are in the Hall of Fame. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
