Description

Circa 1950 Tris Speaker Single Signed Baseball. One must suspect that a fan spotted the retired Grey Eagle in the stands of a game and wisely approached him for the sweet spot autograph that adorns this offering. It retains a marvelous 9/10 boldness, establishing this representation as one of the finest Speaker singles we've encountered. The ball exhibits apparent game wear, toning the hide, and the Official American League stamping is faded but visible. A very rare relic which only surfaces at an average of once or twice a year on the major public auction block. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
