Description

Circa 1950 Tris Speaker Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM-MT+ 8.5. It was a legendary career that almost never happened, as Speaker's left arm was so badly damaged in a college football injury that doctors initially suggested amputation. But Speaker recovered to become one of the greatest hitters the game has ever known, maintaining to this day the career record for doubles, and top ten positions in average, hits and triples. Much like the man who signed it, the offered baseball finds few rivals, garnering twin ratings of 8/10 from the experts at PSA/DNA for both the autograph and the "Official League" baseball itself, with a half-point bonus for the enormous "eye appeal." A notation to the left of Speaker's sweet spot autograph personalizes the sphere, "To Tommy, Best Wishes." Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM-MT+ 8.5.
