Description

Circa 1950 Tom Yawkey Single Signed Baseball. With just two examples appearing in our database of all major auction results from the past thirteen years, the Yawkey single is properly considered one of the most elusive of post-war Hall of Famers. Non-players are always tough, of course, so this OAL (Harridge) ball should draw plenty of attention, particularly from those collectors with a Boston Red Sox concentration. The 1980 Cooperstown inductee provides an 8.5/10 blue ink signature on the sweet spot. Some staining on the ball must be ignored in light of the tremendous scarcity. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
