Circa 1950 Bill Bevens Single Signed Baseball. Oh what could have been for Bill Bevens in the 1947 World Series. He pitched 8 2/3 innings of no-hit baseball and was primed to cement his legacy in baseball history if he could get one more out. That out never happened as a walk, intentional pass and game-winning hit not only spoiled the no-hitter, but the game itself. Have no fear Yankees fans, your pinstriped powerhouse would win the series. Signed by the man who had a brush with greatness is this OAL (Harridge) baseball. Bevens signed the sweet spot in blue ink. A heavy layer of shellac has been applied to the ball. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
