Circa 1941 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. 11/1/2024 Description Update

In the early 1940s, the New York Yankees were a dominant force in Major League Baseball, winning the World Series in 1941 and 1943. Led by stars like Joe DiMaggio, the team boasted strong pitching and a balanced lineup, maintaining their success despite the onset of World War II. Many players, including DiMaggio, served in the military during the war, which impacted the roster by the mid-1940s. Despite these challenges, the Yankees remained competitive, continuing their legacy as one of baseball's most storied franchises.

Offered is a Reach OAL baseball signed by more than twenty members of an early 1940s Bronx squad. Among the signers are Joe DiMaggio, Lefty Gomez, Joe Gordon, Red Ruffing, Bill Dickey, Joe McCarthy (clubhouse), Spud Chandler, Tommy Henrich and more. Toning exhibited with some ink fading. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
