    Description

Circa 1940 Hall of Famers Multi-Signed Baseball with Ruth, Wagner, Cobb, Young, Johnson. It's one of the most star-studded spheres we've ever presented, a staggering assembly of Cooperstown immortals that includes nine of the eleven men honored at the Grand Opening in 1939: Ruth, Speaker, Sisler, Wagner, Mack, Johnson, Cobb, Collins and Young. Joining them in due time: Greenberg (twice), Hartnett, Ott, Gehringer, Medwick, Dean, Herman. That's sixteen Hall of Famers!

The derivation of the ball is a bit of a mystery, though a Hall of Fame induction ceremony seems a likely suspect. It's difficult to envision any other locale or event that would enjoy such a staggering convergence of pre-war legends. Remarkably, each and every one of the twenty-eight signatures present rates 7/10 or better, further elevating this peerless relic to the heights of collecting desirability. Quite literally one of the finest signed baseballs that Heritage has had the privilege to offer. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph).
