Description

Circa 1940 Ed Barrow Single Signed Baseball. The architect of the first great Yankees dynasties, Barrow served as general manager and team president of the New York Yankees from 1921 through 1945, presiding over the first fourteen pennants and ten World Championships in franchise history. Despite his long and essential service, Barrow is an extraordinarily elusive target for collectors of single signed baseballs--even Hall of Fame executives rarely garnered that much attention in their day. This is the finest we've seen, featuring a 9/10 black fountain pen autograph on the sweet spot of a baseball free of any legible stamping. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
