Circa 1940 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. A signature much like the man who penned it--bold, Yankee blue, and larger than life. This exceptional "Official League" ball represents the very bedrock of the sports collecting hobby, and no serious hobbyist could afford to be without one. The sphere remains much as it did when the Babe held it in his history-making hands, with the passing years toning the leather to a creamy vanilla hue, the boldness of the ink all but unchanged over the passing decades, easily a 9/10.
