Description
Circa 1940 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball. An enormous inscription from the iconic Yankee inhabits a side panel and sweet spot of the presented "Official League Ball," provided in the Babe's distinctive black fountain pen script. The last few letters of the recipient's name have been lost to a spot of wear, but otherwise the writing survives at an average strength of 7/10. A second autograph of an unknown figure (Jake Betz) derails "single" status, though the ball certainly can display as such, providing a nice opportunity for a reasonable autograph collector.
