Description

An exceedingly rare playing-days single from the Fordham Flash!

Circa 1930 Frank Frisch Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM 7. It's the finest single we've ever encountered from this veteran of no fewer than eight Fall Classics balanced evenly between his years of service to the New York Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals respectively. This specimen, narrowed to a three-season range (1929-31) by its unique ONL (Heydler) stamping, would have found the speedy second baseman as a member of the latter, with whom he would claim both the World Championship and the National League MVP in the third year of that potential span.

Unadorned by personalization or any other distraction, Frisch's bold signature commands the sweet spot, garnering an assessment of 8/10 from the notoriously strict graders at PSA/DNA. The boldly stamped red and black stitched Official sphere rates 6/10 for the combined grade as listed.

While Frisch singles surface within the hobby with some limited degree of regularity, the presented model is not intended for the collector merely looking to tick boxes on a want list, but rather for the uncompromising hobbyist who understands the value of owning the incomparable. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM 7. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
