Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball.While the superstar slugger's famous and unfailing generosity of spirit ensured that his is the most available of all pre-war sporting legends, the tremendous demand for his essential autograph has nonetheless powered a sustained upward trajectory in auction results throughout the years. Historically, the Babe's signature has been the hobby's safest bet. It has been commonly and properly stated that every great sports memorabilia collection begins with the Babe Ruth single signed baseball.
The Babe's residency here on an Official American League baseball from the presidency of Ernest Barnard assures a signing date between 1928 and 1931, a period when Ruth was averaging forty-nine long balls annually while driving in 154.
