    Description

Circa 1930 Babe Ruth & Lou Gehrig Signed Baseball. Six Yankees recorded over one hundred runs batted in during the 1931 American League season, and we find half of them on the presented "Babe Ruth Home Run Special" sphere, the only representation we've ever encountered featuring this historic trio. While Ruth and Gehrig require no introduction, we remind collectors that Lyn Lary served as shortstop for the Yankees during the last six seasons of Ruth's pinstriped tenure, wearing the same number "2" that another Yankee shortstop would claim as his own.

Ruth's sweet spot autograph rates a solid 8/10, while Gehrig projects at a strength of 6/10 to the left. Lary is the strongest of the bunch, registering 9/10 in black fountain pen ink. General handling wear is to be noted, but only the last flourish of Ruth's signature is touched, to no ill effect. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
